Lard Lass Shaving Soap
Lard Lass Shave Soap is our new lard shave soap base. I am hoping to release it as a limited edition soap every few months with a new scent each time.
"How in the world did you come up with that name?" Well, our family used to have a rather large cat named Bingo, and my oldest son lovingly referred to her as "Lard Lass." When I first started making soaps, they were lard based and we loved them. (I actually wanted to name my business Lard Lass Soaps, and even purchased the domain name.) Once I started making tallow shave soaps, it was easier to just purchase tallow in bulk and use it for both shave and bath soaps. But, I still love my lard soaps and wanted to make a lard based shave soap and call it Lard Lass.
So...after much testing, I finally have a Lard Lass Shave Soap! I hope you enjoy using it.
